Austin Urban Market vendor
policies:
Event Cancellations - In
the event of cancellation of our event for any reason you will be
credited the total amount you paid towards the next event you are able
to attend, no cash refunds.
Vendor Cancellations - As a
vendor you must cancel before the designated early payment deadline (via
email), in which there is a $15 cancellation fee which will be taken
from your refund, no refunds after the deadline. Refunds will be paid
within 30 days of cancellation. You may sell your space to another
approved vendor.
Vendor restrictions - No
illegal products are allowed to be sold, any vendor found to be selling
illegal products must leave the premises, with no booth refund.
Vendor Setup restrictions - Anchoring
on cement, wood or trees, which may cause permanent damage to property
not allowed. Vendor may be held liable for permanent property damage.
Food / Drink Vendors - Food
/ Drink vendors are exclusive and pre-qualified. Exceptions are vendors
selling pastries and vendors promoting / selling sports or
nutrition drinks.
Ujamaa Buck redemption - Vendors
will receive the dollar value for all Ujamaa Bucks that are spent with
them. Vendors are required to write their business name and date on
the back of the Ujamaa Bucks spent at their booth. Pending the financial
success of the event due to fixed cost involved, the Austin Urban
Market may option to provide vendors a credit to be used toward booth
fees at a future AUM event.
Indeminty - All vendors that
participate at the Austin Urban Market must hold harmless AUM and the
Villager Newspaper of any loss, damage, injuries, restitution or
reimbursement. Participants should understand the AUM to be an effort of
goodwill for the benefit of the community.
